No More Donations Accepted. This lucky girl saw a U.S. orthopedic surgeon and she can recover with proper rehab, WITHOUT rebreaking the bone! Leaving campaign open long enough to allow anyone seeking refunds to contact us. Non-refunded monies will be used for cataract surgery on a senior deaf dog whose world will change when he can see again. Lucky Little Sam.

Gaviota was so ill and underweight from tick-borne disease that she could not have have surgery done on her badly broken thigh bone. It healed poorly while she was nursed through long courses of Doxy.
We have found a foster family in the southwest to care for Gaviota while the vet rebreaks and stabilizes her leg and enables her to run and play like the happy dog she is!
Jinny Miranda and I (Karen Grossman) are sponsoring this dog. In 18 years of animal rescue, I have never begged for public money. If you have laughed at a post on my page, benefited from a food or financial donation I've made, appreciated a dog I've transported for your group, placed a dog I've networked, or adopted from me...PLEASE CONSIDER SENDING any amount you can spare for Gaviota.
