My Name is Yossi.
I was most terribly affected by a Kidney problem a little over a month ago. I was rushed to the hospital ER - only to be admitted for a 5 day excruciating stay that kept me under strict supervision on various pain killers and a Urethra procedure which hooked a stent into my kidney in order to save it. I have a 12 Millimeter kidney stone!
As goes socialized medical care here is Israel I am only able to be fully operated on over 2 months later this coming September 5th 2019.
MINE specifically is an operation that should be done much sooner since the chances of losing the kidney is higher than most with smaller stones. But I simply do not have the luxury to have it done privately.
Private surgery is not the issue. I will wait my turn, I will handle the pain that still comes and goes in waves, and I will be strong.
It is my children that I am so so worried about... I am currently unable to work - the job that I have had for the past 3 years is a very physically demanding one and I am simply not able to work while having this stent inside me. TO much activity on my part leads to pain and some internal bleeding which I cannot afford to go through each day at my job.
My doctor has strictly extended my sick time away from work but it comes with a price...I am out of paid sick days, and I am now behind on the CHILD SUPPORT that I so diligently pay every month.
I could not pay it this past month nor could I pay my rent which has now put me in an EXTREME financial bind.
My 3 children need the money.... they must have food to eat.
I am looking at being out of work until the end of September until this complicated kidney stone is finally removed and I have healed and am able to get back to work. Hopefully for a better employer who will be willing to give me an easier and more fair position due to my needs at this time.
I am not asking for even food to be able to buy...I will eat by family...
I do need to keep this roof over my head, and I do SO need to support my children.
My needs financially at this time at the minimum are 20,000 NIS (shekel) which is $6000.
This is just to cover my most basic immediate living debts.
I have asked to reach the amount of $10,000 since I will need a bit more for food for myself and some water and electric bills.
Please make a generous contribution for the sake of my children.
