Surgery for Sparky #savesparky

Sparky is a five year old Jack Russell mix, he was rescued and has been a loyal loving member of our family for the past 5 years. My daughter has grown up with him most of her life, and he is everyone's best friend.
Recently, Sparky's health began to decline drastically and, after evaluation at the vet, it appears he has a hernia in his periocardio sac, and his liver has shifted into the sac. Currently, his liver function is being compromised and he is severly anemic. A large portion of his liver is being strangulated, and unfortunatly, surgery is our only option. Left untreated, this will kill the dog.
The surgery must be preformed at Palm Beach Vetrinary Specialists, due to the fact the surgery will require specialty equipment that my vet does not have.
The cost estimate for the surgery, including a week long hospital stay for recovery, and medications is $4500.
We are a single income family, and this is not the kind of money we have, we have three children, (two are foster children) and the thought of losing our sweet sparky would be devestationg not only to us, but also our daughter who has grown up with him, and our foster children, who have also grown to love him during thier time with our family.
So, here I am reaching out to the good people of society- not only to help save Sparky, but also to help prevent a few kids from losing a beloved pet unneccesarily.
I need to get this surgery ASAP, as there is no telling how much more his little body can take... we are taking each day with him as a blessing , and hoping there will be a way made to save Sparky.
