This is the first time anyone has done the right thing for this sweet neglected dog  


Since her rescue she can’t stop hugging us, she wraps her legs around you and just won’t let go.... she truly seems grateful to be rescued. 

I absolutely HATE asking for donations but I’m not a rescue and have zero funding to do the work I do. I’ve managed to help get vet work for, and safely rehome, over 60 dogs this year without asking for help, but I really need some help to get Karma healthy so she can start life in a real home for the first time.

Her story. 


I was asked to help with Karma bc she was taken in by a lady and she was being kept outside. I was told she had untreated mastitis (quick fix with antibiotics) and had been seen by a vet. That was not true. The dog had been left in her condition for over a year. It was obvious that she had serious issues the second I saw her. 


Her teeth are all filed down, likely from trying desperately to chew through the chain she spent most of her life on, she’s been bred and left sick, outside in the heat, cold and rain, for likely her entire life. 


Her vet visit today revealed she’s got a hernia that requires surgery. So basically she was left to live outside on a chain, with her intestines leaking from her stomach creating a pouch sticking out just under her skin, for at least a year. I wonder if she’s ever known a life without pain and suffering.
