Supporting My Kaleidoscope Project

My Kaleidoscope Project is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that equips tween girls with the tools and skills they need to best navigate their feelings and emotions during the middle school years. Girls are given an opportunity at their local school, to come together in a class of 10-15 and dive into topics and issues at hand such as confidence, friendship dilemmas, social media, family dynamics, and more. We offer tangible ways for girls to express themselves by participating in emotion-based exercises, intentional theme-based projects, role-playing with one another, and bonding activities. This type of support for girls is crucial during these fragile ages and by inviting them to share what they are dealing with, they instantly feel important, validated, and not ALONE.  When it comes to bullying, stress, anxiety, depression, uncertainty, confusion, thoughts of self-harm they have the tools to make better choices and have a network of likeminded people to reach out to. Girls are given a chance during our 8-week class series to work on what is hurting or preventing them from being kind to themselves and to others. They come to understand the importance of accountability, forgiveness, and being "others focused" instead of "self-focused". After classes are over they have support from Kaleidoscope by being a part of a mentor program, assisting in classes by sharing their story, and more. 

All money raised goes back into the project so that we can reach more schools and families.
