Sabina. A good friend, amazing person. A lively, young 27-year old woman pursuing her acting passion, who lately has managed to open her own small theatrical group "Profile" in Cracow, Poland. Amazing joy, whole plethora of new perspectives on the art scene.
And suddenly, everything interrupted by THE news. Glioma. Brain tumor. Again.
But why again? She's already won a similar fight 3 years ago. Managed to get through all the pain, went through the brain tumor and started pursuing her big dreams. And suddenly the recurrence. The cancer is back, the tumor returns.
Does not sound nice, does it? The Dread Disease. The sound itself makes you tremble.
But moblising friends and people with kind hearts all over the world, we will not the glioma take our Sabina away. She's got many more theatre plays to stage.
We are raising funds for the Gamma Knife, an advanced radiation treatment, medicines and proton therapy, a medical procedure that uses a beam of protons to irradiate diseased tissue. The closest it can take place for Sabina is in Prague, Czech Republic.
