Help Perry get his RECORD backed.
I made an album. It's a comedy album, but not stand up album. A lot of it is funny, but no it's an album of almost (one cover) all original music. The music project is called ¡Mandom! (MANDOM for searching purposes), and the album Is called Mandom Encounters. Its rock, its hip hop, its 80s, its dance, some might even say it's Avantegard, its about love lost, addiction, and its different.
For those of you that know me, you know I've been through a lot of ups and downs with addiction and depression for many years. Making this album has helped me clean up my act and find my focus in creating again. I’m sober, clear, and motivated to make the most of this opportunity. My hope is that promoting this project will elevate my career overall because it incorporates standup, acting, and production at the same time.
The album is called Mandom Encounters and will be free to download and share. I plan to monetize my efforts through licensing to TV and Film when possible and through direct sales of higher quality versions - including a possible small run of signed vinyl copies.
Up to now, I have been fortunate enough to self fund the project - thanks mama, love you! However, with so many new milestones to hit I no longer can. I am setting up this gofundme to raise funds for:
1. Two music videos to help the hit songs go viral ($2000 x 2)
2. Album art to make sure the record looks memorable and striking ($500)
3. A beautiful new website that creates a lasting digital experience ($1500)
4. Legal Fees to make sure I never see the inside of Rikers or get sued into homelessness ($2500)
5. Promotional and Marketing fees to get the word out ($1500)
My last video Perry Strong Comedian cost a little more than $1000 to produce. Although it has some cool moments, I know I could create a much better product not working on such a limited budget, having a better state of mind, and really wanting to turn this thing on it's head.
I will be officially releasing the album and first video to the masses when the first video is completed, but You! Yes You! Since you are a close connection of mine, you can listen to the whole record right now on soundcloud!

Also feel free to share it, post it, whatever you like. I'm considering this to be a soft release and it would be amazing to get some momentum going by the video and hard release. Yeah yeah, I said hard release.

I am also asking if anyone may have “In-kind” donations such as access to shoot locations (night club, bar, swanky apts, boats), production locations (sound stage with white cyc, green screen), relationships to PR (radio, music, music supervisors), those would also be greatly appreciated and warmly accepted.
