This May, Kassy Dillon founded a very special website called LoneConservative.com. The purpose of this website was to give conservative students a place to share their views without fear of repercussions. The name is symbolic of our authors. Many of our authors are part of the minority of students who identify as conservative at their schools.
Since the launch of LoneConservative.com, we have published dozens of articles from several students and have received over 100 writer applications. We currently have 24 students that run our website and write for us. We are in the process of adding 25 more. In addition to this, we receive thousands upon thousands of page views a month and have recently become a registered Limited Liability Company. We also launched our new website during late August.
Why am I telling you all of this?
We would really like to grow, and currently, the startup costs are unfortunately burdensome as many regulations and taxes are levied upon us. We think that our website has a very special role in empowering students to be better activists on their campus by giving them a place to improve their writing skills, network with other students, and have a larger role in the conservative campus movement. With your help, we can achieve this goal. Whether you donate $1 or $100, every bit matters.
