Larry's Fight Against Colon Cancer

Donation protected
My little brother Larry was just recently diagnosed with an extremely rare and aggressive type of Stage IV colon cancer (small cell neuroendocrine carcinoma) on July 3rd, 2017. The Cancer has metastasized to his lymph nodes and spots on both sides of the liver.

Larry has been battling Crohn's Disease & Ulcerative Colitis for the last 15 years since he was 18 and after being very ill the month prior they moved up his yearly scheduled colonoscopy which is when they found the tumor in his colon. After visiting the oncologist and surgeon at Penn Hospital they decided the best course of action was an aggressive form of chemotherapy to stop the aggressive spreading. Larry has made it through one round of chemo so far and has 3-5 more to go with further treatments and potentially surgery in a few months.

My brother is going through a rough time right now dealing with the pain from his cancer, Crohn's disease symptoms, and aggressive chemotherapy side effects. With everything that is going on is it extremely hard for him to work or just do ordinary daily tasks.

Any donations will go towards his medical insurance payments, bills, co-pays, eating organic, future clinical trials, and loss of time at work. His wife Samme has been back and forth at work, taking my brother to his appointments and being there by his side while also providing for them as much as she can. Any donation will go a long way and we are truly grateful to have you all in our lives. We ask that you fight with us and put my little brother in your thoughts and prayers!

A little bit about my brother... Larry is 33 years old.  He is an avid sports fan, loves bowling, computer design, cooking, movies & superheroes.   He has a huge heart with so much love for everyone and always has a smile on his face!  His spirits have been very good and I am amazed out just how brave and strong he is!  Any support you can offer is greatly appreciated!

We are also having a benefit for Larry on Sept. 8th from 7pm-midnight at the Ballrooms at the Phoenix in Boothwyn.  Tickets are $30 and include full buffet dinner, bottle beer & Liquor.  You can purchase tickets or drop off any donations, baskets or silent auction items at the Allstate Perkins Agency located in the Willowbrook Shopping Center in Boothwyn.  The agency will be open Mon, Wed, Fri 9am-5pm and Tues & Thurs 9am-7pm.
