Supporting Natalie

We are raising funds to help a 20-year-old cancer survivor. At the young age of twelve, Natalie Romeo was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma, a rare form of childhood bone cancer.
After completing many rounds of chemotherapy, she underwent several surgeries and ultimately had her leg replaced with a titanium prosthetic. Since put in remission in 2012, Natalie has had to reimagine her entire life. With irritations from her prosthetic leg, Natalie has been spending much of her time in doctor’s visits, physical therapy sessions three times a week and having less mobility overall. A new brace to help provide the mobility to do everyday activities is Natalie’s next plan in her journey to becoming an ordinary young adult, while still attending Raritan Valley Community College, studying Pre-Nursing. “Natalie is an inspiring individual who has battled what no 20-year-old should. Her goals to give back and make a difference for the children who are experiencing what she went through is incredible and we want nothing more than to be able to help Natalie live an easier, more comfortable life.”
With the help of your recommendation, we are hoping to support Natalie in her goal to become a nurse so that she can help children in hospitals, just like how nurses and doctors helped her throughout the years
