Keep Her Safe
Donation protected
My name is Amanda and I am a married mother of three. My teenaged daughter is being stalked and has been hurt by a young man. I cannot divulge the particulars of her case, but we have filed a police report and obtained a Temporary Protection Order. I'm not more forthcoming with details to protect her privacy and to not hinder the investigation.
We are obtaining an attorney to guide us through the process and to make sure my daughter is treated with respect and dignity. All funds collected will be used to support our daugther so we can get her the help she needs and the justice she deserves.
This includes:
- attorney fees
- any psychological and counseling expenses
- babysitting for our younger children so we can attend all of our daughter's necessary appointments without additional finanical strain
- I have generous leave time, but my husband does not have paid leave. Some of this money will cover his missed hours of work
We intend on being incredibly transparent with this money by keeping a log of the money used to share with donors. Our family intends to use this money to help our daughter until we have pursued the highest level of protection (TPO) and until the perpetrator is incarcetrated.
ALL EXTRA MONEY WILL BE DONATED to RAPE RESPONSE AND GATEWAY DOMESTIC VIOLENCE SHELTER. Rape Response is a local organization providing support and advocacy for victims of sexual violence. Gateway assists victims of domestic violence
Our first court date for the TPO is on 11/15 and this is our first fundraising date. This processes if new and very overwhelming. I will update as much as possible.
I cannot describe how thankful I am for assistance. If you could only see the hurt and fear in my daughter's eye. I want to keep her safe. Mentally, physically, and emotionally safe so she can heal.
Love and thanks to all.
