Save the EPA, get Activist's Resource Pack! Welcome!
Our goal is to raise awareness of the importance of the Environmental Protection Agency. We'll do that in a variety of ways including using this campaign as a clearinghouse for petitions and forming groups and companies that have the same purpose. We have a major door prize for those who visit. It's a mountain stream in Brian Head Utah. More about that in a second.

But now, let's see what happens "when the EPA is defunded. "

We want to inspire and teach others how to set up their own intiatives to support the environment through crowdfunding.  When you contribute here you will help fund the production of the material for this program. And, you'll get a copy!

Energy Independence Protects Cultural Sites
Does the ISIS destruction of the ancient Roman amphitheater in Syria’s historic Palmyra anger you? It should. Artifacts from our ancient past disappear more and more every day. Is there anything we can do to stop this destruction of the Holy Land?
How does our attitude toward protecting the environment possibly affect the efforts to preserve our historical, anthropological & archaeological sites?
Using renewable energy reduces our dependence on foreign oil from the Middle East. With fewer economic interests in regions where history runs deep, modern society has less need to interfere with the cultures currently in place there. In time this will result in fewer and fewer generations resentful of the changes outsiders wish to impose on them.
For most of us, not being policy makers, we can sometime feel helpless and assume we have no means or ability to influence the support of renewable energy. This simply isn't so. You can use flex fuel in your vehicle. Flex fuels are the fuels at the pump with yellow or blue handles also labeled with E, like E85. They contain ethanol or other fuels distilled from renewable crops grown domestically. These plants sequester carbon from the atmosphere as they grow. These fuels burn cleaner with fewer particulates exhausted into the atmosphere.
Another way to support renewable fuel producers is by buying stock in their companies.

Someone who gives to this campaign will be given land worth $200,000! Yes, we're just giving it away!
Each time you come here and give is like coming into the door and signing in just one more time and you'll be eligible for the grand door prize: real estate in Brian Head Ski Resort.

The Ultimate Door Prize: LAND!
This beautiful piece of land in the mountain ski resort town of Brian Head Utah is being offered to one lucky person who signs in here at once the campaign is fully funded. It sits at the headwaters of the Parowan Creek water way. Currently, it's for sale at $199,999, nearly what it sold for less than 10 years ago.  However, the owner would prefer to keep it in the hands of those who would not to pollute the stream by storing salt for deicing the mountain roads.

Even if you don't support this effort to save the EPA, please write to your elected official and request they do what they can to protect and save the EPA.

What are we doing with the money we raise?
Simple, we're forming a movement that will be used to raise money for non-profit organizations which have the purpose of benifiting a progressive, grass roots approach to saving the environment.
We just put together a new Faceook page to begin to organize this movement:
Skew the Drake, Facebook Page

We're also providing 5 hour courses on climate change and global warming from The Open University free to anyone who asks for it.

Weather related disaster relief efforts: if funded in time, we'll be spending a ton of this money to rent boats to help stranded victims of this disaster.

Other Ways to Increase Chances of Winning Land:
Please share this campaign and increase your chances at winning the land. Each time one of your friends mentions your name in their post-entry comments, you'll earn another chance to win.

Thank you.
