Supporting Abby's Eye

On May 17, 2017, our beloved friend Abby had a tragic accident while playing mini golf in Ocean City. A golf ball hit her in the eye leaving life long damage. From Ocean City she was transferred to Wilmer Eye Institute located at Johns Hopkins Hospital, is where she underwent a four hour surgery. The floor of the infra-orbital bone in her eye socket was fractured along with many other bones in her face. Abagail also suffered from retinal detachment, optical nerve damage, and a ruptured globe which resulted in reconstructed muscle placement. All in all, she permanently lost the vision in her left eye. We are considering this a miracle due to the fact that in the emergency room we were told she could lose it completely.

Due to this life altering event, Abby is incapable of doing things without assistance, and recovery is her number one priority. Many of you that know Abby, know that she's a loving, energetic, kind soul who has been nothing but selfless during this tragedy. With that being said, we are trying to help raise money for her medical bills, along with all other expenses she will accrue while being out of work.
