Support for the Hill Family

16-year-old McKinney North student, Aaron Hill, recently passed away while swimming in a McKinney pond. The Hill family has faced a lot of tragedies, loss, and heartache, especially over recent years. Aaron's father, Ira Hill recently lost his wife, Terry, to cancer. Ira has also lost 3 brothers. Now Ira is faced with the loss of his son. Even one of these events can be financially draining for a family, but the Hill family has endured a lot in recent years. Ira has not asked for help, but we at Slaughter Elementary feel strongly about helping our family and community members.

Ira Hill has been a beloved PE teacher at Slaughter Elementary for many years. He's the man who greets all students as they walk into school every day with a smile and a high five. Coach Hill holds on to joy and shares it with everyone else despite all the heartbreak he's endured.

It's our turn to pass on some joy and support to him in his family's time of need. We'd be grateful for any donations you're willing to contribute to help cover any necessary costs the Hill family faces.
