Support Brandon Dean!!

Hello all,

I am the sister in law to be to a truly wonderful man, fiancé, father, brother, son and friend to so many: Brandon Dean. As many of us are already aware (the video has now gone viral on Facebook & is also attached here) Brandon was on his way to work via public transportation Sunday evening when he was wrongfully accused of boarding the Trimet bus without having purchased his fare. Brandon was booked into the multnomah county jail facing charges of "interfering with public transportation" as well as "theft of services."

Brandons daily life consists of working customer service, providing for his fiancé and two year old son, attending and playing instruments religiously at his church, and producing music. This story has caused great confusion, anger, sadness and inconvenience to Brandon, as well as thousands of others including close friends, family, and even complete strangers around the world.

Brandon and several others attended his court arraignment this morning, and he is due back in court in August.

In addition to this unfortunate situation, Brandon was banned from using public transportation for 60 days until today when he finally was able to file an appeal through Trimet in order to continue using the service. However, after considering the negative affects this situation has had on him, along with the discrediting of his character and embarrassment it all has caused, Brandon has decided that it would be in his best interest to not have to use Trimet services if it is at all possible to raise enough funds in order to invest in a more permanent means of transportation. Brandon is one of the most dedicated and hard working men I have ever met in my life and him being able to continue on with his daily life without having to ever experience this type of thing again is important.

It is my hope that we are able to get as much support as possible for Brandon in any way; whether it be through prayer, sharing his story, offering him and his family words of encouragement, or most importantly, financially, in order to help with any funds necessary such as for transportation in order to help him get to and from work.

Thank you so so much to everyone who has been supportive to Brandon through this troubling time! God bless each and every one of you who has and will contribute in any way. Thanks for taking the time to read!!!
