Please show your support for Vana Dee Lewis as we raise funds for her to return to North Dakota for court later this month in regards to her time in Standing Rock.
Vana is a Tohono O'odam Native American tribal member as well as a prominent Tucson/ Chukson community member who uplifts, inspires and motivates people across the world with her words, her actions, her artwork and her Famous From A Hashtag campaign #WORTHY and #ILOVEMYCITY. She is a teacher, an abstract artist, a comunity activist who promotes peace an prayer, Earth and water keeper, public speaker There is so much positive to Vana than we can put into this short segment about her!
Vana, this incredible woman, has been charged with bogus charges, which are all a part of a bigger, systematic effort to strip her of her rights and discourage our people from fighting against injustice, racism and yet once again, the attempted genocide of indigenous people.
We need those who stand with Standing Rock to show up for this young Water Protector She needs your love and positive energy as she faces the unknown.
