Support the Track City Champs to STATE & Six Flags

Donation protected
Greetings Family and Community Supporters!

This season has been simply AMAZING to say the least! We literally built a track team from scratch last year full of sixth graders and now we are the 2019 Middle School Track and Field City CHAMPIONS! The resiliency, commitment, hard work, dedication, perseverance,  teamwork, and brotherly bond these young men exemplify amazes us and we are so grateful God allowed us to be their coaches because we have learned more from them than they will ever know. They truly understand what it means to love and support one another and it has shown up on and off the track. Many of them experience hardships you could only imagine, but just like gold is created, they still manage to come out of the flames strong and shiny for the entire world to see. This season, more than anything, has shown the boys to "respect the process." When you want something in life, you have to appreciate and respect the process because it makes you grow and become a better person in the end if you stay in the fight and don't give up! Well, our fairly tale isn't over yet...lol A majority of our young men have qualified for the State Championship on Saturday, May 18 at Austin Peay State University in Clarksville, TN. Although we are super excited about the opportunity to compete at the State Championship Track Meet, we are also a small Title One school located in Westwood, TN and the financial obligations which include: travel, hotels, food, and other expenses would be a huge burden on our boys and their families who have qualified. Please help us remove this barrier so that our boys can compete at State and have this once in a lifetime experience. We wish there was more public school funding for experiences like this, but the truth is that there isn't especially when you come from a small school. Listed below is the breakdown of our expenditures for the State Championship Trip and athletic banquet to celebrate and honor our boys on an excellent season and a job well done!

(8) Hotels on Saturday, 5/17-5/18 @ 120.00=$960.00

(1) 2 Day Charter Bus Fee, 5/17-5/18=$3,200.00

(25) St. Louis Six Flags [email redacted] on 5/19=$1,199.75

(25) Trophies, Medals, and Catering Fee for Athletic Banquet=$ 600

This totals out to be=$5,959.50 and Go Fund Me requires a 3% percentage which is why we're asking for $6,200.00

We're asking for $10, $20, $50 or $100.00 donations or whatever is on your heart to give! Thank you for investing in our future and giving our track team a once and a lifetime experience! We are trying to have all the money raised by Monday, May 13th.

We are only two weeks away from the state competition and we have to put deposits down as soon as possible. Thank you all in advance for supporting our young men. Please share with your networks!
