Support Tom in his journey with Lymphoma

On 14/03/2018 I was lucky enough to welcome a beautiful, healthy baby boy into the world with my wife Chloe. Just over 10 weeks later on 28/05/2018 I received the devastating news that I had High Grade Stage IVB Primary Mediastinal B Cell Lymphoma.
I had to stop working as an Operating Department Practitioner at Bournemouth Hospital as I started a chemotherapy regimen called RCHOP at Poole Hospital. After 4 months and 6 cycles of chemo the cancer was still growing. I was then treated as an inpatient on an aggressive salvage chemotherapy regimen called R-IVAC with the intention of a stem cell transplant following successful treatment. Unfortunately, two cycles of this regimen, several blood and platelet transfusions, IV antibiotics and wiping out my immune system, this treatment could not control the Lymphoma either. After lots of worrying about what the next plan would be I was referred to University Hospital Southampton to start on a clinical trial called ARGO in December 2018. After two cycles my health deteriorated rapidly and tests showed that once again my Lymphoma was still growing.
On January 15th 2019 (having had 3 failed treatments) I was put forward to a panel for the chance of a revolutionary new treatment option. It is called CAR-T Cell Therapy and is being funded by the Cancer Drugs Fund so I am in a very fortunate position as this treatment is so new.
The treatment can only take place at Kings College Hospital London which would require a relocation of myself and my family to help me in my recovery. And this is the reason I am asking for support.
The treatment requires appointments in London for tests, scans and consultations. Then from March we will have to stay in London for approximately 2 months (if all goes to plan) so that I can receive 24/7 care from my Family near to the hospital after discharge. Any funds received will help with relocation, accommodation and travel costs so that myself, my wife and baby and our support network can give me the best chance of a successful recovery. After this we expect further follow up appointments hoping that the CAR-T Cell Therapy is effective.
We are hoping to raise funds as soon as possible so that the above can be put in place. During this interim period I am hoping to receive Radiotherapy at University Hospital Southampton to keep my Lymphoma under control until my treatment starts.
