Support The Red Line Salish Sea
The Red Line Salish Sea is an Indigenous led organization. Our members and supporters are activists who participatein anti-pipeline movements such as NoDAPL, NoLNG and other movements that protect Indigenous land, sovereignty and work to protect the health and safety of the Salish Sea from oil extraction, racial profiling, and tar sands projects to name a few.
In the last 6 months the Red Line Salish Sea has been tirelessly working to protect ourselves, our allies and our followers on facebook from a corrupt warrent submitted by the Whatcom County Prosecutor’s Office with the aide of the US Department of Justice. The Whatcom Superior Court judge submitted to the prosecutor’s request, allowing the State to invade the Bellingham #nodapl Redline Salish Sea Facebook profile.
We have done everything in our power to protect our organizers, allies and facebook followers from this corrupt warrent. For more information regarding this struggle please read "JUSTICE DEPARTMENT HELPED WASHINGTON STATE PROSECUTOR TARGET FACEBOOK RECORDS OF ANTI-PIPELINE ACTIVISTS," a news article published on the The Intercept. We are humbly asking for solidarity during this time, and request donations to pay for potential legal fees related to this warrent. We are also seeking funding to support travel fees, office supplies, supplies related to non-violent direct action to name a few. We need your support to continue our work, and to protect our community from anti-Indigenous companies that extract resources and put our communities in danger.
