Support The Neessen Family

Donation protected
On Tuesday, July 16, 2019 an unusually strong thunderstorm whipped through Mechanicsburg, PA, the home of Jim and Amy Neessen.  An extremely large 50-year-old tree in their front yard split in two, landing on two cars and the front of their house, engulfing their front yard. Thankfully— miraculously— no one was hurt. While the homeowners’ insurance will cover some of the costs, the Neessens will have to a pay a substantial amount for the repairs themselves.  The cost of removing the remaining “standing” half of the tree will also be out of pocket.  Their car windows were blown out, including the front and back windshields.  There was also significant damage to the front dashboard and hood on one of the cars.  None of these car repairs will be covered by insurance.

Unfortunately, all of this is happening during a time that the family has also been dealing with some significant medical issues.

We ask that you please consider making a donation to help the Neessen family defray some of their expenses from the tree damage, as well as the medical expenses which continue to add up.  Your generosity will help minimize the stress the family has been under at this time.  Anything you can find in your heart to donate is greatly appreciated!
