Support Sydney's Family

On Wednesday night November 28, one of the sweetest four-year-olds you have you have ever met went home to be with Jesus. Sydney Flowers (far left) was so full life! She loved wearing her Tinker Bell outfit, watching Disney movies on repeat, going to the beach, wearing her swimsuits, and always styling fashionable shoes even if they were on the wrong feet. She also really enjoyed playing the video game Street Fighter 4 with her sister Skyler. Though Skyler and Sydney were two years apart you would never know it, they acted more like twins. They were best friends and you never saw one without the other. While on this earth Sydney was blessed to have the best parents a kid could ask for. Gaylyn and Courtney always have the biggest smile on their faces and fiercely love their little girls. They are the most caring and giving people.

Sydney passed away from complications of RSV and Sepsis at Texas Children’s Hospital. Sydney was currently fighting off an ear infection and strep so Monday when she was not acting right her Mom took her to a local hospital. After 24 hours, the local hospital sent her to Texas Children’s.  At Texas Children’s some of the best pediatric doctors and nurses in the world did all they could for Sydney.

As you can imagine this family is going to need support over the next days, week, and months. One of the biggest needs will be financial, with three days of intense medical treatment and the cost of laying her to rest.
