SSFS has just completed the largest conference it's ever held to date: The Canadian Freedom Summit '17. Our goal at SSFS is to be able to bring more events such as these in the future, but we have no funding.
Due to the apolitical and non-partisan nature, it is often difficult to gain sponsorship from organizations. We often rely on spending our own money, and the goodwill of volunteers to help with events and covering material/transportation/rental fees.
We were able to hold the Canadian Freedom Summit due to the generosity of donors and largely due to attendees purchasing their tickets well ahead of time. We would like to hold even better events in the future, but we are stuck at the moment because we just about broke even with the Summit.
