Support "Φιλοι του παιδιου" - in memory of Giannis

A few weeks ago we lost a good friend, Giannis Stratis. In order to honor him and his memory I would like to raise money for a cause which was important to him and his family.
"Οι Φιλοι του Παιδιου" is a non-profit association based in Athens, Greece, which has supported children in need since 1987. It supports children and their families to meet their basic needs like food and clothing, medical or psychological support. To make things more interesting I combine the fundraiser with the challenge of a half-marathon: Next Sunday, June 2, I am registered to run the Regensburg Halbmarathon. It will be the first time that I compete in this race in my hometown in Germany and I am honored to make this run in memory of Giannis and to the benefit of "Οι Φιλοι του Παιδιου".
