Support Olivia Lusk's NYC Education

Hello! My name is Olivia or 'Liv'. I'm a sixteen year old book blogger and high school student. In my free time (haha what is that?), I enjoy reading, talking about books. and finding new musicals to obsess over. In school, I am involved in my school's literary magazine, a book club promoting literacy, and the drama department. In fact, I am currently in the ensemble of my school's production of Phantom of the Opera. I am also a Her Campus High School Ambassador.

I have been accepted to attend the School of the New York Times to study Cultural Creative Writing/Photography/Theater in summer 2018! Due to my academics and responsibilities in school, I don't have the time to get a job to afford this program. I have received a financial aid scholarship of $2,000 which covers a huge chunk of the expense. That still leaves me with over $3,000+. In order to secure my position, I must have a $1,500 deposit down by Feb 9. Attending this program would mean the world to me as I hope to work in book publishing in New York City after college. I set my goal to $400 because even a little bit of financial support would help me so much.
