Support My Brother's Heart Surgery

My name is Rhoda Bagay- Labauza. The boy in the photo is my brother, Angelo M. Bagay, 14 years old who lives with my parents in the Philippines. Three weeks ago, he was diagnosed of a congenital heart defect and now requires immediate heart surgery to repair two holes in his heart, drain the fluid build-up around it and prevent further enlargement. The surgery will cost at least $18,750 (PhP 750,000). Since my parents earn a very minimal income, there is no way that they could raise the money for his operation. I have been supporting them financially while my husband and I also provide for our own family here in Canada. I have created this campaign in the hopes that people will help my young brother to recover from this life threatening illness.
