Support Lola's Battle Against Brain Cancer

My niece Lola Stevens is a beautiful young energetic 6 year old.
In August the Stevens’s family received the worst news any parent could ever hear, their little baby girl was diagnosed with a very rare brain tumour called ATRT which is an extremely aggressive brain cancer with a high relapse rate. This has been absolutely devastating for my sister and family and has shattered their world.
Lola’s battle has just begun.....as she has already undergone major surgery to remove the brain tumour and will now commence intensive chemotherapy, radiotherapy and stem cell treatment. Lola’s home for the next year will be at the hospital.
Her treatment makes her very sick and completely destroys her immune system. Lola’s mother Penny and father Shane have put their jobs on hold to care for Lola, as well as caring for their older son Harry.
We are starting this page hoping that any support that can be given will help them be able to focus on the most important thing which is Lola and her health. Her treatment is expected to continue for at least a year with any funds donated being used to pay for her ongoing medical treatment.
Despite her near-constant pain and suffering, little Lola has maintained her bright and sometimes stubborn disposition throughout all of this and continues to win the hearts of everyone she meets.
