Support Kris Heidecker’s Cancer Fight

We (Amanda and Jessica) are posting this on behalf of our Mom, Kris.
As many of you know, our mom just had a successful knee replacement surgery. What you might not be aware of is that during her recovery she started to experience pain in her lower abdomen. This brought her to the need of making multiple visits to a variety of doctors, which also left her with little to no answers. Fast forward to the other week… Our Mom was in such severe pain that she was rushed to the ER. After more doctors and tests she was given a diagnosis of stage 4 Uterine Carcinoma, metastasized to her lungs. Mom just received her first round of palliative chemo, and will receive a total of six rounds to start off. Once her pain can be managed, she will be discharged from the hospital.
We are unsure of the exact time we have left, but we do know that our mom can use all of the support that she can get. She has already missed out and will continue to miss out on work. She will also be having an extensive amount of medical bills coming her way. We are also hoping to have mom move closer to us, so we can more easily help her and spend more time together.
During this difficult time, we are hoping that friends and family will be able to give in whatever way possible, and we would appreciate any financial contribution. We understand that not everyone can give financially, so we would also of course appreciate other forms of support - prayers, time for cleaning, gift cards for groceries, good thoughts, time for moving help, and etc.
In the meantime, Mom definitely appreciates the idea of visitors, but we want to make sure that she is and stays in good health, so we will be assisting in coordinating visits. If you have any questions or would like to visit our mom, please reach out to either of us - Amanda or Jessica.
