“Support Kay’s Fight”
Our dear friend Kay Fraser has recently been diagnosed with a very aggressive form of breast cancer. Kay has healed from surgery and now faces the continued path to recovery by beginning 12 weeks of treatment. If you know Kay, you understand how incredibly private she has been about this fight against cancer. Initially, the thought of organizing funds to help Kay make her fight a little bit easier was met with resistance and it took a bit of convincing to encourage her to allow us this opportunity to help. Feeling powerless to help Kay, Howard and their two children, as they have endured incredible frustration over insurance authorization and a calibrated plan of treatment, it became clear that one way we could show Kay how impactful she has been on so many lives, was to help with the financial burden.
Kay has served the Temecula Valley Unified School district as a valued staff member at Temecula Valley High School, Chaparral High School and she was an original stakeholder who opened Great Oak High School before she retired last year. Kay and her loving husband Howard, have been actively involved at Rancho Community Church for many years. Kay is a confidant, a problem solver, a mentor, and a barometer for many who serve in public education but most importantly, an extraordinary friend. Our hope and prayer is that Kay will be encouraged by all of the lives she has impacted. Please join us in supporting Kay’s fight by giving financially or emotionally to the site.
