On the eve of this new year, heaven gained a beautiful soul, Nagy Khalil. This is a story of a loving, caring, selfless, father, husband, and servant of the Lord, who was diagnosed with ALS and suffered for 2 years until the Lord called on him to come Home. He leaves behind a wife, Mervat, and 2 sons, John- 22 and George- 15 .
Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), a progressive neurodegenerative disorder is very rare. It attacks certain cells in the brain and spinal cord needed to keep the muscles moving. People with the untreatable ALS suffer when their motor neurons start to deteriorate leading to loss of muscle function and paralysis, and inevitably death. As a consequence, Nagy has suffered the pregression of this disease the past 2 years.
Nagy loved so selflessly and was loved by everyone who was lucky enough to know him. He gave his all to his family, friends, church, and everyone he met. He embeded a Christ like manner everywhere he has been.
As he faithfully served and took care of everyone, it is now our turn to give back as he did his entire life.
To honor him, his two sons friends' would like you to join them in helping to raise money for funeral costs and financial assistance, as he was the main provider for his family.
