In late February 2019, my dad was hospitalized for 2 months due to a serious diabetic foot wound infection which needed surgical treatment to prevent potential amputation. During his stay he was diagnosed with C. Diff and MRSA which caused complications in his recovery. 

Due to his financial state and peripheral neuropathy (nerve damage in hands and feet), he must close his motorcycle restoration business of 23 years and move in with my husband and me to receive home care, while we figure out a more sustainable living situation for him that’s closer to family and better for his health and mobility issues.


He's on a long road to recovery, but making good progress through continued rehabilitation. However, medical bills from this hospitalization (surgeries, doctors, rehab, home care costs, ER visits, medications, other fees not covered by insurance) have become too much for him to pay on his own.

We greatly appreciate any donations to defray medical bills and new living adjustments. All donations help relieve the financial stress and let him focus on recovery.
