This is the gofundme home of Team HJ, the campaign to compete Ian Herbert-Jones in the 2022 Golden Globe Race.
Ian will sail yacht Puffin 30,000 miles, around the world, non-stop, alone and unassisted, for over 9 months at sea, without the aid of modern technology. A pure, raw, challenge of the sea.
To support Ian in reaching the start line in 2022 & finish line in 2023, Tean HJ needs funding during 2019 for sailing, emergency and navigation equipment and the refit of yacht Puffin to ensure she is ready for ravages of the Southern Ocean .
