Pathways To Your Future (PTYF) founded in 2000 with the mission: To provide comprehensive education, health, and human services to reduce homelessness of underserved individuals, youth and families while promoting their development and enriching the communities where they live.
The effects of homelessness of Transitional Age Youth (TAY) ages 16-25 is a major contributor to other health issues said LA County Department of Mental Health (DMH) reports.
Through the years however, PTYF declining supportive services funding for our program have been the victim of inadequate organizational capacity, program sustainability and resources and in order to stay relevant to the changing currents of risk factors, homelessness, and crime which are suffocating youth potential success before they mature into responsible adulthood.
This campaign for donations is to contribuet to the PTYF's efforts to end homelessness for Transitional Age Youth (TAY) in the city of South Los Angeles, CA by supporting other shelter programs and the wish lish from some of our TAY to produce more beds for those emancipated or aging out of foster care specifically targeting those individuals who are indigent, homeless, or at risk of being homeless and are capable with the proper support and training in life skills of living independently in a community setting.
This Gofundme Campaign starts now and will be updated at our "2017 Frontline Soldiers Awards Breakfast Fundraiser" and our theme this year on the 25th Anniversary of the LA Roits is: "It's Time to Do More" being held October 7th 2017, 7:30 a.m. at the Newly Remodeled Proud Bird Restaurant located at 11022 S.
