The Evangelos

On February 14th our sister Kristen went into the hospital for high blood pressure and after hoping to go home after being monitored, she was admitted for severe preeclampsia at only 23 weeks.  Although the doctors said it was very rare this early, she would not be going home until she delivered.  They hoped they could wait as long as possible but 3 days later they couldn't control Kristen's blood pressure anymore and she had an emergency c section.

Riley Eileen Evangelo was born at only 1 lb and 11 inches long on February 17th.  The doctors instantly called her feisty and a fighter.   While it won't be an easy road Brandon, Kristen and Riley are fighting every day.  Since they are an hour and a half from home they are staying on hospital property to always be close by but the medical bills are slowly increasing and creating a financial burden.
