Update: Apr 25th, 2019

We have been reached out by many of the donors and supporters asking about the well-being of the mother and child, at this time the child (Shreyaan Mishra) is still in critical condition and the mom (Anupam Tripathi) is in a trauma. We are thankful and appreciate the donations you all have contributed until now.
It was lately found that Ram Nivash Misra was not covered for the death insurance from his employment since he was working as a contractor and the family will not be receiving any benefit.
Considering the deceased bodies might be required to be transported back to India, the living expenses for the mother (She is unemployed) until she can stand on her feet and other operational costs. I have been asked to increase the funding limit ($100,000) to support her and the child.

Apr 22nd, 2019
Ram Nivash Misra(38) and his two sons (Shreyaan Mishra - Age 10 and Aarav Mishra - Age 9) were sent to hospital in critical condition after an incident at a swimming pool in a St. James apartment complex.

It happened just before 5 p.m. Sunday at Courts of St. James (200 block of Ronald Street). Ram passed away on Apr 22nd (around midnight) and his younger son (Aarav Mishra) passed away on Apr 23rd. The elder son is still in critical condition.

Ram was the sole income earner for his family. They have moved to Winnipeg recently and they do not have any contacts in the city. His wife is trying to cope up from the shocking incident that occurred to her family.

We are trying to raise money for covering the funeral costs, travel expenses, bills and any other urgent needs of the family. If anyone can help, it would be much appreciated and a gift of any amount would make a difference.

It would also mean a lot if you could share the fundraiser link on social media. The more eyes it reaches, the faster we will we be able to help the family in need.

I (Srikanth Tiruvayur)  am a co-worker of Mr. Misra have registered this campaign, to financially support the family in this distressful situation.

We will be withdrawing the funds collected from the campaign and hand it over to his wife (Anupam Tripathi) the ultimate beneficiary.
