Support for Marple Family

We are all shocked and devastated by the loss of Kristin Anne Hughes Marple, during a happy and forward-looking time in her life. Having found her soul mate, and been blessed with her beautiful son, Thomas, later in life, she was also due to start her ideal job after maternity leave the very day after this tragedy struck .

In the midst of David's grief and need to find a way to single-parent sweet Thomas, he faces significant challenges from this loss.  The immediate and unexpected burden of co-pay expenses from ICU and palliative care, funeral expenses, and maintaining the home they worked so hard to build -- without Kristin's anticipated income and mothering presence-- are overwhelming stresses.

Dozens of people have offered to help and support in any way they can, and that support is indeed needed. We have set a goal that may help cover funeral and hospital expenses, and hopefully give David some minor relief going forward these first months during his hiatus from work as he figures out how to proceed in his life without Kristin by his side. We are beyond grateful for any level of help that is offered.
