Support for Manlapaz Family
Donation protected
It is with great sadness that the City of Claremont and Cal Poly Pomona announce the passing of Mark Manlapaz. Mark was a Claremont Park Ranger for three years and a sixteen year veteran of the Cal Poly Pomona Campus Security team. Mark was tragically assaulted and killed while working his shift as a Public Safety Specialist at Cal Poly Pomona on Friday, June 29, 2018.
Mark was a friendly, helpful, and dedicated figure in the Claremont Wilderness Park and on the campus of Cal Poly Pomona. He will be greatly missed by his family, co-workers, and the community.
Mark was a lovely person whose dedication and excellence shone through everything he did. He is incredibly loved and respected by his colleagues, and was an exceptional leader who really built relationships both with his colleagues and his community.
This GoFundMe page has been set-up by the City of Claremont and Cal Poly Pomona in collaborative effort to support Mark's Family and to contribute to the costs for his services.
