Support for Kelly Quarles

Friends and community members,

This is an especially hard letter for me to write because this person is someone I love and respect very much.

Kelly Quarles was diagnosed with breast cancer last month. She will be having bilateral mastectomy surgery on November 27th. Kelly will be unable to work for up to 6 weeks! Those that know Kelly know that she is a single mother of four children. Not only is she a devoted mother who can be seen on the sidelines of her kids’ events and volunteering in all of their activities, she has also worked FULL TIME while putting herself through Nursing School from which she recently graduated. She is not only an inspiration because of all she does, she is an inspiration because of all she is: a loving and devoted mother, a supportive and caring friend and a woman that has committed her life to serving others in the medical field.


Friends, we need to show to Kelly the support that she has shown to so many. As she is the sole provider for her children and household, it is imperative that we raise funds to help her through this trying time. Not only will she be out of work, but she will be unable to do the simplest of everyday tasks that a household requires. We are hoping to raise funds to alleviate some of the stresses of bills, food, transportation and the needs of her children. EVERY LITTLE BIT HELPS AND IS APPRECIATED. Even just sharing this page or sending a prayer would mean the world. Kelly is strong and courageous and, with our help, she can take cancer head-on and kick its butt!!!!!
