Kate has been struggling for over a year with a debilitating condition that has yet to be diagnosed. What started out as fatigue and muscle aches very quickly took a downward spiral completely devastating her life. In just over a year Kate has gone from being a vivacious, active young woman to wheelchair bound and dependent on others to help her with day-to-day activities most of us take for granted. She has been seen by many doctors, specialists and through every test imaginable, but still has no answers.
Kate is a professional singer, songwriter, musician, and dancer. Since this illness began her ability to do the majority of these things came to a screeching halt as her mobility, strength and sight have rapidly declined.
She is so very strong and refuses to give up fighting for her life back. To watch her go through this with courage and tenacity is awe inspiring.
Kate is blessed to have the love and support of her family and friends but she needs help financially too. Unfortunately her savings didn’t last long once the medical bills started to roll in. Although her parents and fiancé have been helping as much as they can, they could truly use our help. She does have insurance but we all know it doesn’t cover as much as it should.
She currently has a manual wheelchair, but as her body grows more weak, her parents find it harder and harder to transport her. The funds raised through this campaign will help them not only with medical bills but also to purchase handicap equipment allowing her to be more mobile.
