Support for Garhwal Himalayan Village Project

After weeks of preparation it’s finally happening: our climb of the Stok Kangri (6.153m) in Ladakh, India. A great challenge and life changing experience.
Many thanks in advance to our friend Mukesh Joshi (YoBro Events) who organized everything from scratch to end and who will be taking us to the top. Mukesh, you make our dream come true!
We realized how lucky we are being able to do this. We wish to express our gratitude by supporting the Garhwal Himalayan Village Project, set up by Mukesh Joshi himself.
This project aims to bring employment to remote areas and empowerment/education of women and children in Garhwal Himalayas by building a Retreat Home Stay for Yoga, Meditation and Outdoor activities in one of the Himalayan villages in the Northern Indian state of Uttarakhand. It will include a space for after school activities (i.e. homework and creativity) for the village kids and a community hall esp. for the women.
Mukesh: “Our dream is to improve the lives of many village men, women and children. We aim to help the local people who have been living on this land for over many generations and encourage those who have left due to harsh living conditions, to return.”
We kindly invite you to support the Garhwal Himalayan Village Project as well. A beautiful and solid initiative offering Himalayan villagers a chance to build their own sustainable future.
We hope that we can count on your support for Garhwal Himalayan Village Project.
Many thanks in advance!
