Caleb is a freshman at Florida State University in Tallahassee, Florida. In the early hours on Friday morning, Caleb was on his way back to his dorm on his skateboard and fell which caused a traumatic brain injury. He was transported quickly to Tallahassee Memorial Hospital where he was ventilated and transferred to the Neuro Intensive Care Unit. He is currently in critical condition. The medical team is balancing treatments to help decrease brain swelling and maintain stabilization.
This heart-wrenching situation has been a roller coaster of emotion for not only our brother and his wife, but also the entire family. We have all felt the support from the community of family, friends and church throughout this experience. Your love and constant prayers have helped us feel at peace that God is in control and has Caleb in his loving and healing arms.
We know that many of you have asked how you can help Caleb, Dan and Debbie during this time. They would ask for you to join with them in continued prayer for God to provide healing. we are reminded in scripture that where two or more gathered in His name, God is in the midst of them and where He is there is no need for worry or fear, whether in life or death because He is all that matters. They would also like for us to pray for God to provide wisdom and guidance for the medical team. This is the most powerful way to support our brother and his wife during Caleb's complete healing.
