Support for Austin Ayotte

Donation protected
Austin is 17 years old and is currently fighting for his life.  On Saturday, May 26th, he was driving home from work. It rained earlier that afternoon. He was about 1/4 mile from the house when he hit a puddle coming around a corner and hydroplaned. He lost control of his car and was T-boned by another car coming from the opposite direction causing his vehicle to slam into a tree. He was found unresponsive and life-flighted to Vanderbilt Hospital where he is currently on life support with a traumatic brain injury.  He has multiple facial fractures, a collapsed lung and is so swollen and bruised, he is hardly recognizable.  The doctors said that he has so much swelling and blood in and around his brain that they fear he will never be the same Austin again.

Most of Austin's family live in Michigan, where his parents are from.  And since this tragedy, those of us who haven't had the chance to meet Austin, are realizing what a gift he truly is.  This kid is passionate about EVERYTHING, from football to working on cars, to travelling and  just working in general.  He likes to play video games with all of his friends, in both Michigan and Tennessee, and  just adores his dog, Chubs.

This is the last picture that was taken before the accident.  He just completed his junior year of high school and is looking forward to SENIOR YEAR!

If you don't know Austin, or his parents, just know that he has a squadron of people in both Michigan and Tennessee hoping for a miracle that this boy will come home strong as ever.  Today, he showed some positive improvements and his parents are holding on to it, but each minute feels like an hour, and each hour, like days.  We are all in shock and horror, as anyone would be, that someone we know is suffering such a horrific tragedy, while his parents are by his side  begging God to bring their boy back.

That is why we want to help them in any way that we can, hoping we can take any financial burdens from the hospital costs, or time off work, ANYTHING to make this long journey ahead of them a little less painful.

Please, PLEASE, please, even if you can spare a penny, the more support we can give them, the more time they can spend with him, and not worrying about any financial burdens that will arise.
