Support Ernesto Morales’s Road to recovery

On January 22,2019, on a day with tempatures below freezing,  Ernesto, like many home owners, spent his morning thawing out frozen pipes. Unforeseen embers ignited and engulfed his home within minutes. All personal belongings of his and his 12 year old son destroyed and damaged  including his personal vehicle. 



Many of you know Ernesto as an avid soccer fan and coach of the Amsterdam’s Youth Soccer league. Or you may recognize his name from his long time family business: Ernesto Morales Jewlery Repair at Riverfront center in Amsterdam NY. Ernesto inherited and learned his father’s trade: jewlery craftman and design. Fixing jewlery and designing jewlery has been his career His whole life. 

Today Ernesto has 3rd degree burns on both arms and hands. His face is also severely injured from the heat. Ernesto will have to undergo surgery to repair tissue and nerve damage. He has a long road to recovery.  As a tradesman, your hands are everything. With God’s grace his family is praying Ernesto will be able to return to the work and clients he loves so much.
