Support Derrick to care for kids

On April 23, 2017 Tamika Higdon was getting ready for bed just as she does every night. She was recovering from a recent surgery she'd had and told her husband she was in a little pain. She proceeded to lay down, she then reached over, told her husband she loved him and suddenly fell unconscious.
This came as a shock because she'd just witnessed her oldest son celebrating a victory by winning a championship basketball game, she seemed to be fine, and there was no signs of any complications that anyone knew of.  It seemed like just another regular good day...Her husband Derrick called 911 and immediately began to perform CPR on his wife but it was not successful. The EMT arrived and after doing all they could to resuscitate her the paramedics had no choice but to rush Tamika to the ER. The doctors did all they could to save her life but God had other plans and Tamika did not make it and was pronounced dead. 

A husbands and fathers worst nightmare has come true for him and his two small boys Jr. (10 years old) and Jordon (8 years old)

This is going to be a long and tough journey for Derrick as he is left to care for his kids on his own. These two small kids depended on their mommy for so many things and now she will no longer be there to provide the care that they need. 

Derrick will need as much help financially as he can possibly get, so that he can have a little relief as he now continues raising his boys as a single parent.

 I can not imagine the financial worry he must have now and this is the last thing he needs to think about right now. We decided to do this Go Fund Me for him to give him one thing less to worry about so he can focus on being there for his boys.
