On April 27, 2018, Bob Diesel was admitted to Tufts Medical Center in Boston for a foot infection and received devastating news that his foot would have to be amputated due to a rare flesh eating bacteria that was rapidly spreading. On April 30th they amputated his foot and on May 3rd they amputated just below the knee.
Bob is doing great, is in good spirits and happy to be alive (60% die from this bacterial infection).
He cannot walk or work, the healing process is long, it is unclear when he will be able to get a prosthesis and be able to walk and work again. In the meantime he needs our help to cover food, living expenses, healthcare etc.
