Biracial and Multiracial Voices

BECAUSE SOMETIMES BIG THINGS NEED TO START SMALL
Black-Asian will be a mechanism for social change – one that will generate its own momentum, building upon itself and creating the types of results that will carry us far as a society for years to come.

We aim to create the perfect space where we are ALL accepted, nurtured and supported. We believe that factors like ethnic background, sexual orientation or general demographic should NOT separate us as a society any longer.

THE MISSION
ONE RACE, working in simplistic harmony with one another. Because anything less just won’t do – at least, not anymore.
YOUR SUPPORT IS MORE THAN JUST A DONATION. IT SHOWS YOUR DESIRE FOR CHANGE.

THE PROBLEM
A LACK OF RESOURCES AND SUPPORT aimed at individuals who identify with two or more races and parents of multi-racial children.

Biracial and multiracial individuals have few dedicated resources to call their own, here are a few New America Media, Multiracial Media, and MECCA. Which means biracial and multiracial individuals are forced to identify with a single racial identity for resources, for example, AHAA, ALPFA, etc. for Hispanic/Latinos, NAACP, etc. for African-American, Ascend, etc. for Asian, and ALBL, etc. for Native Americans.

The answer is clear - there SHOULD BE RESOURCES AND SUPPORT aimed at individuals who identify with two or more races and parents of multi-racial children, which is exactly what Black-Asian is designed to be.

THE MARKET
The demographics we intended to impact are (information provided the U.S. Census Bureau)

Biracial and multiracial are comprised of minorities, which is why we support Latino/Hispanic descent, African-American and African descent, Asian descent, Native American descent, European Scandinavian descent, and Pacific Islander descent, etc.

- 9,000,000 people, which is 2.9% of two races or more (biracial and multiracial) the U.S. population.
- 115,338,715 people, which is 39.89% of minorities the U.S. population

WHY WE NEED YOUR FINANCIAL SUPPORT

The founder Tarzine Jackson is an ONE-WOMAN SHOW, she:
 • Designed and built the platform
 • Setup and manage the social media accounts
 • Wrote articles
 • Produced the marketing and media campaigns
 • Self-funded the startup costs for Black-Asian, which includes purchasing business licenses, the domain name's, production equipment, supplies,  marketing materials and EMPLOYING WRITERS.

We are at a critical point where the founder/creator is unable to financially to support Black-Asian alone.

The support GIVEN by crowd-funding will go directly to:
• Employing writers
• Giving people a VOICE by sharing their stories
• Partnerships with other organizations and educational institutions

We ABSOLUTELY cannot do this without YOU!
