Support Bailey Losee and Family

As Bailey said, “Life has made an unexpected turn.”

After Delaney was born, Bailey began to experience some concerning symptoms that lead her to see a neurologist. After a month of tests, scans and doctors appointments Bailey was given the shocking diagnosis of Moyamoya disease.

As we all know, Bailey is truly one in a million, with her generous heart, her light and bubbly spirit and her unconditional love for others. Moyamoya also affects one in a million people. It is a rare, progressive disease affecting the arteries and brain.

Bailey has two 70% artery blockages, one in each of the internal carotid arteries. This puts her at risk for strokes - and as a result, she will need to have at least one brain surgery.

Bailey is being treated by a very competent and caring team of specialists at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota.

In order to focus entirely on Bailey’s health, it’s all hands on deck. Unfortunately this comes with mounting medical bills, travel expenses (gas, hotels, food, etc), and living expenses at home, including daycare for Charlotte and Delaney. Austin and Bailey will both be missing a significant amount of work in order to ensure Bailey’s long-term health.

Moyamoya is not curable, but can be managed through medical interventions. Together, we can alleviate the financial hardship this unexpected diagnosis is having on the Losee family.

If you can't give, you can still help by sharing and keeping Bailey, Austin, Charlotte and Delaney in your thoughts and prayers.
