The Colorado Ayurvedic Medical Association (COLORAMA) is a non-profit organization which represents professional practitioners in the legal and ethical practice of Ayurveda statewide.
The ancient practice of Ayurvedic medicine has helped millions of people create healthier lives. However, like any other medical system, Ayurvedic therapies have contraindications and the potential for adverse side effects. This is of particular concern when therapies are used incorrectly, are abused or administered improperly, or are prescribed by unqualified practitioners. (1)
We at COLORAMA strive to ensure that our practitioners’ credentials, training, and experience is appropriate to the level of care being administered, so that consumers can trust the care they are receiving.
That is why COLORAMA is actively pursuing new legal and legislative methods to protect the practice of Ayurveda, for both healthcare consumers and practitioners of Ayurveda. This comes at significant lobby and legal expense. (2)
We humbly ask for your support to help us secure the legal practice of Ayurveda now and into the future, for the benefit of all.
Your donation will be earmarked for COLORAMA’s Governance committee for use in this historic effort.
