Support a hOMe for GBH

Guided by Humanity (GBH) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that serves, supports, and empowers ALL students. We support holistic health and wellness through community yoga classes, mindful cooking classes, as well as mobile mindfulness and meditation classes. We specialize in adapting traditional yoga practices for those with Intellectual and/or Developmental Disabilities and providing underserved communities with access to the benefits of yoga and mindfulness practices. Currently, GBH hosts classes at borrowed spaces, such as traditional yoga studios and other venues, throughout the Denver metro area.  Since our 2017 inception, GBH has hosted approximately 220 students and taught 330 All Abilities yoga classes with an 82% return rate. 

Our ultimate goal is to build a permanent home and studio where we can host classes to more effectively engage the community. We envision one location in a safe, accessible neighborhood to better serve our students. GBH will offer the First All Inclusive, Non-Profit Yoga and Mindfulness studio in Colorado that is accessible to everyBody, including persons with intellectual or physical disabilities, larger bodies, persons of color, persons who are hard of hearing, seniors, children, and other community members who typically have limited access to yoga and mindfulness practices.   

This venture will give us the opportunity to put our values of COMMUNITY, ACCESSIBILITY, and COMPASSION into practice by bringing a holistic approach to health and wellness for everyBody. Your contribution towards our studio will help us to create a more cohesive community through yoga and mindfulness practices while fostering stronger bodies and healthier minds.
