Supplies for North Bay Fire Victims

Followers, friends, family & fellow wine lovers,
As most of you are aware, this week the North Bay Area, specifically Sonoma and Napa County, has been hit with a number of raging wildfires. So far, these fires have taken out over 2,000 homes and businesses, several wineries, and have forced thousands of people to evacuate with nothing but the clothes on their back.
Because all of us putting together this fundraiser (names below) have deep ties to this area, some personal and professional, it's very important to us to do what we can to help these people. Because though we know it as "wine country", it is first and foremost a home to thousands of civilians.
We've decided to combine forces to fundraise for supplies that several of the local shelters need. People are continuing to evacuate and these shelters will continue to need supplies as more demand rolls through. Every penny donated to this GoFundMe will be used to purchase some of the necessary items these shelters need. This includes:
- baby food
- water
- blankets
- pillows
- diapers (adult & child)
- tolietries
- pet food
- socks, underwear, etc.
- toliet paper
- bedding
- boxes
- tents
- and much, much more.
Hopefully, we'll be able to hit our goal by Saturday, so goods can be purchased by local bloggers and delivered to shelters that need it within the next few days. We truly appreciate every dollar you're willing to give to provide for those in need. It will be very trying times for wine country in upcoming months, but the kindness of strangers has a way of making things a little brighter.

- We are related to the parties we're helping in several ways. Many bloggers are from the Bay Area, specifically the North Bay, and we work in the wine industry, which is taking a huge hit from these disasters. Many of our friends and family have lost everything.
- I (Hannah Perkins @ My Pour Decisions) will be withdrawing the funds and using them to purchase supplies for evacuees shelters. This will be done on Sunday night, and supplies will be delivered throughout the week, as the fires are expected to carry on.
