Become a Superhero for Jayden

Become Jayden's Superhero in 3 easy steps!

Step 1. Read this and forward it to your friends and family; WORLDWIDE!!!

Step 2. Go without 1 coffee / 1 chocolate bar or 1 packet of chips (crisps) and instead donate that money to Jayden and his family.  Even if its just $1.

Step 3.  Call the Red Cross and donate your Blood, you can help save more than just Jayden's life.

My name is Melissa Arabaci, I am a team manager at Yarra Trams, Glenhuntly Tram Depot in Melbourne, Australia.

I am trying to raise money for 2yr old "superman" Jayden O'Connor who has been diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL) and his amazing family;  Dad (Trevor) who is a "tram driver / hero"; Mum (Jen) "wonder woman" who has quit her job to care full time for Jayden and his "wonder boy" big brother 4yr old Thomas, who thinks his little brother has a sore leg and that's why he spends so much time in hospital.

Jayden's mum had a terrible fright on Tuesday 24th November when Jayden who is now undergoing an aggressive form of chemotherapy over the next 8 months, didn't wake up in the morning, Jayden was rushed to Monash Hospital in Clayton and received several blood transfusions.

Jayden has been a "superman" through the diagnosis and treatment in such a short time, undergoing several operations, spinal taps / lumbar punctures, blood transfusions and ridiculous amounts of chemotherapy for a little boy of only 2 years of age.  He has remained upbeat and is always ready to smile even when he isn't feeling so good.

Because Jen (wonder woman & mum) had to quit her job and Trevor (tram driver, hero & dad) has now gone part-time in order to ensure he can be with Jayden, Jen & Thomas every Wednesday for his chemo, their financial situation has changed, not only have they gone from 2 people working to 1 person working, they're also only receiving half of that one person's wage.  Financially they need help.

The money will be given to Trevor and his family to assist with keeping up their finanical obligations so they don't loose their house, can enjoy Christmas and to ensure that they can have one less thing to worry about over the next 8 months and focus on what's really important "their family".

We need funds quicker than you can read this line. So please become a "superhero" in Jayden's life, follow the 3 easy steps above and lets help spread the love.

We've all known someone or been that someone who has been touched by heartache in our lives, as a Team Manager I am doing my best to raise money but can only do so much as we are a small depot.

Jayden's story has touched my heart, opened my eyes and illuminated my soul.  I hope it does for you too.

I will provide updates along the way on Jayden's story and you can connect with the O'Connor's via my facebook page if you wish (friends list).

Lets see if we can make this happen and lets all become SUPERHERO'S.
